Let The Rain Fall Down And Wake My Dreams

Today is evidence of two things:

1) Further proof that I made the right choice staying OUT of the miltary.
2) I soooo have got to get more sleep. A few hours cuts it when being entertained (perhaps entertaining as well) but it is not sufficient for the long days of staring at an uncooperative screen.

I was stuck for an extra 20-30 minutes commuting home from work and I could not keep my eyes open...quite literally.

I hate sleeping in public while alone - even on planes. I will close my eyes but not genuinely sleep. Today, I tried doing my sudoku and gave up after I kept losing my place to drooping eyelids. I put my head on the window and closed my eyes. The next thing I knew I was jerking myself upright again from actual sleep (repeat scene ~5 times).

Thank god there is someone else doing the driving.

Thank God you mentioned that little detail!

Go to bed!

don't be weak. You're a total BAMF. I believe I was the one being hassled for sleeping.

(ah, sweet justice)

RSM ~ No, you were being hassled for choosing sleep over BEER. There's a difference (though I probably would have chosen sleep over beer too as I am not a true fan of beer but I am a true fan of sleep). And besides, you probably looked and felt a LOT better than the rest of us the next morning.

Cat ~ would have been nice if you had mentioned that you were NOT the one doing the driving at the beginning of that post. You scared me!! Get some sleep!

How is it I knew you weren't driving even though you didn't mention it right away. I think I remember you saying you always take the train... or something like that.

As I often have long periods of no sleep and stare at computer screens all day - I guess I could say I've been there. *grin* Many times sleep is highly overrated.
