Baking

I was reading Application to Date Me over on The Bisch and saw he asks

15. I like cookies, especially chocolate chip ones. Do you like baking chocolate chip cookies?

I laughed so unexpectedly I almost had green tea come out my nose. I knew guys like fresh baked cookies but wow...

It made me a little sad though. It wasn't that long ago that I spent my spare time baking the day away and my evening packaging the goods up for the guys at my then moocher boyfriend's office. My house always smelled of dutch apple bread, banana bread, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, and oreo cheesecakes. I threw some other things in from time to time but those were always big hits. I even took requests.

It came to an end once I got too busy to be suffiently bored enough to bake but I do miss it from time to time. I haven't really had an opportunity to bake for an office since then. I don't ever bake for my own workplace though...it feels too much like begging for their compliments or approval.

*sigh* Those were some good times...

You know, I have a few requirements for dating me too. Did I ever show you the pie chart I made last year in grad school during a bout of procrastination? It basically came out that only 0.75% of the male population is even POTENTIAL dating material. How sad is that?

Here's what I require (keeping in mind that I am a chemist):
1. Have you taken & passed ON THE FIRST TRY real, honest to God Calculus? Bonus points for any additional REAL math.
2. Do you currently smoke (anything) or use any [other] illegal substances?
3. Do you accept the fact that I have a fantastic sense of direction and can read a map better than you?
4. Do you accept the fact that I must do the vast majority of the driving since I am susceptible to carsickness?
5. Do you accept the fact that the only pussy in this relationship is between my legs and that you aren't to ever, ever act like one?

Yeah, that's about it.

Oh yeah, and once I came up with those rules, amazing that I finally met someone who fulfilled them!

Anytime you want to bake for me, or the guys in my office, please... feel free. :) We love goodies! Of course, I like chocolate chip cookies, but the oreo cheesecake sounds good too. Oh, and the peanut butter cookies, and the banana bread, and.... mmm yum. I'm hungry.
